Semiannual Pennsylvania windshield stickers (post-1983)
After the phase-in of annual inspections, some vehicle types continued to be
inspected twice per year (Pennsylvania Vehicle Code
Title 67, Chapter 175, Section 5). These included heavy trucks (over 17000 pounds GVW), school buses,
school vehicles, and mass transit vehicles.
Note: Effective February 2, 2017,
trucks over 17,000 pounds are now only subject to annual inspections.
Other aforementioned vehicle types are still inspected twice per year.
I do not have too many images of these semiannual stickers, and never kept a
running history of colors.
